Somewhere in the middle of nowhere, pops up this restaurant that serves chowmein and dal chawal. This place is on the way to Nubra from Leh and is run by a very good natured Nepalese guy and his family. Loved the way it’s name was painted.
Just lying there on the shelves I saw this brain acher. Why-oh-why does “Appy” use a ‘y’ that reads like an ‘h’ when placed the way it is placed right now. This is a packaging blunder as it looks like a new apple juice brand hit the market whereas Appy has been around since the time I used to buy it from my school canteen. I am amazed they did not market proof this packaging before launching it? There is absolutely no way you will read this as ‘appy’ without tilting your head! It is sad to see that no attention is paid to type orientation on the packaging. #BrandingFail
Indians love low cost & fast solutions. The Great Indian Jugaad is to paint over what is not needed & carry on with business.
PS: “KAKE Da Hotel” is a famous eating joint hence this copy cat joint had to change its name for fear of being sued over copyright.

Starbucks logo is a very distinct one. Very few brands use green as their brand colour. This is a great example. Totally dig it!
