We as a country believe in making sure the message is communicated and received. We don’t necessarily care if our message overlaps, hides or compromises any other information that might not be ours.
This might be a good example of bad layouts for important information but nonetheless you need to listen to what this board says coz it is true. If you stand for too long at the Khardungla top, you WILL turn blue. Also, drink black tea. #trueStory
Somewhere in the middle of nowhere, pops up this restaurant that serves chowmein and dal chawal. This place is on the way to Nubra from Leh and is run by a very good natured Nepalese guy and his family. Loved the way it’s name was painted.
In the summer of 2014 I visited Nubra Valley, which is about 4-6 hours from Leh. It was interesting to see these signages at a place that seemed so difficult to reach and so removed from city life, or so I had hoped.
Hanuman, the Indian god is the son of Pawan, the god of wind. Loved how this ice cream seller interpreted his name ‘Pawan‘ to include the religious angle as well as the ice cold mountain.
The Toilets were way high tech for me near Jim Corbett Park, Uttarakhand, India
Driving around in Chennai one can come across a lot of these walls painted with huge Tamil letters reading “Narendra Modi”. I have no idea what it means but I surely like the form and colours.
